I have a strict rule to never drink caffeine after 2pm.
Seems like quite an early time with the afternoon 3pm lull we often feel.
But if you have any trouble sleeping at all the is hack will help you immensely.
If I drink caffeine after 2pm I will take like 2 hours to get to sleep later that night
Plus it won't be restful sleep.
I am sensitive to caffeine but I do have around 3 cups per day.
According to the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, caffeine’s half-life is up to 5 hours.
Half-life is the amount of time it takes for a quantity of a substance to be reduced to half the original amount.
I find for me 2pm to be the perfect time for me to stop caffeine when I go to bed at around 10pm.
For you it may be a lot later, everyone is different but you can experiment.

What should you replace it with
☽ Herbal Tea - my fave is chamomile to calm down at night and peppermint is nice too.
☽ Lemon and hot water - a nice refreshing hot drink that really good for you.
☽ Water - good ol water is one of my faves!
